Wagg-master's Terms & Conditions


Warranty Information:

This describes the warranties expressed by the auction(s) statements.

New: These Goods have not been used and may be offered with the manufacturer's warranty, and may be of a 'Retail' or 'OEM' type.

DOA (Dead On Arrival): The Warranty Period shall be seven days from the date of delivery (providing it has one, as if it mentions in the auction that it does not, it does not). Not covered if the auction stated untested or faulty.

Used: Item will have been used, by someone else usually, or me. If me, I known I will state who (within reason). Faults and poor cosmetic condition that exceed ‘normal wear and tear’ shall be included in the description of the Goods.

In good working condition: Shall have passed all major function testing.

Faulty &/or Untested: These Goods shall have no warranty against faulty materials or workmanship. If I know the fault then I will list it (only when stated that the item is Faulty). Units may still have the manufacturers warranty still present but I don't have the time to check up every product I receive, and its sold with that in mind. It may not have the warranty, if I have checked it, it with the rest of the information will be listed. For a list of items that are not tested please look here.

 

Claims Under Warranty:

 

Claims under warranty will only be vaild if the terms below have been met.

The Goods are faulty or non-compliant (if you purchased something and it didn't do the job but wasn't faulty, returning it will present you with a 25% restocking fee).

The Goods are safely returned with all original parts, documentation and packaging (exactly the way you received it) within the warranty period, and Proof of Purchase is provided if requested. I request that you send it recorded in some means.

The Goods have been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and not been misused or damaged. (e.g. Motherboards or processors have not been overclocked and the event has damaged a component I supplied you with.)

The Goods can be demonstrated by functional tests to be faulty, and not working to the manufacturer’s specification - where applicable.

Repair or modification has not been attempted.

Please also note, any items returned to me, must be the ones I sent out, as if not, then if you require them back, you will be paying me the postage for it. I know when an item was not mine.

Should you wish to return the goods under warranty, please ensure the following:

The buyer (you) shall take all reasonable steps to confirm that the Goods are faulty or non-compliant before return under warranty.

In particular, you (the buyer) should ensure that hardware and software used in conjunction with the Goods are operating correctly and that the Goods have been installed and set up in accordance with good practice and the manufacturer's recommended procedures.

The buyer is asked to contact Wagg-master, by email or phone for authorisation of return in advance of returning the Goods. The buyer shall bear the cost of safe return of the Goods, whether faulty or not, as if a fee is required, I will not be paying it, or if your after a refund, it will be deducted from the amount being sent back.

Goods received back with no valid warranty claim will be subject to a handling charge, only if the Goods have not been authorised for return by Wagg-master.
