RETURNS POLICY
I feel that eBay should be a safe place for all traders. This policy will only apply to auctions where I have listed the item as working. The following do not apply to the following:
UNTESTED
FAULTY
ANY AUCTION STATING NO WARRANTY / GUARANTEE OR MONEY BACK
Please understand that I want you to be satisfied with your product(s), therefore I offer a money back, no quibble guarantee, but I want to know why you are returning the item(s). If found to be faulty or a mistake on my behalf, I will refund you or replace the item (if I can't replace, it will be a refund). The refund will be complete (the full amount you originally paid), but only if the above is found to be the case. It does not include the above exceptions.
For other items, when you wish to return them (not including the three auction types mentioned above), I will refund your money, minus the cost of sending it to you. I.E. the postage. I cannot be held responsible for any of these costs. I will also not be refunding the cost of the postage it costs you to send the item back to me.
I will issue a refund (via cheque. If you paid with PayPal I can only issue a refund within 30 days of receiving your payment, so if you take too long in sending the item back, I will only send you back what's left after they have taken all their fees from it and I have taken the P+P from it) to you, but only once I have had the items back, in the condition(s) that you applied. So if you say something is not working, and I find it is, I will let you know. I will still send your money as we would have agreed (or another item), but if the item(s) arrive to me are damaged, then I expect you to claim on some insurance, as it is of no use to me (I can't send it back to my supplier) in that condition. So I suggest you send it registered (like I do) in some form. Doesnt matter if it is the cheapest way to do it, as long as I get it. If a fee is required for me to collect the item from the Post Office or postman, then I will be deducting that from your refund, or I won't be collecting the item.
If items returned are not complete as they were when they left me, then I will deduct that amount (based on a retail price of an online store, like Staples, or someone similar). For example, I send you a complete motherboard, and you send it back missing brackets and leads or other items, I will cost them up online at a store of my choice, prove it to you, and then send you your refund. If we agree on sending you another item of the same specification (once we have received the old one back), and we do this, then I will remove the missing items from the replacement going out (if I have received missing peices).
If you choose to return goods, e.g. Royal Mail or your own choice of carrier then please follow the steps below:
Before returning any item(s) to us please ensure you have:
1. A valid RMA number from us.
2. Enclosed all accessories unless informed otherwise.
3. Use all packaging that was originally supplied.
4. Use a label for clear display of our RMA number.
5. Ensure our full address is clearly displayed
6. Do NOT write directly on the box/packaging with pen/ink. It is ok to write on the external box, but not the internal boxes inside the packaging.
7. Securely seal the packaging using similar method to the original delivery. We very stongly advise you to use a method that has a record of you sending it and requires that we have to sign for it. Failure to follow this may result in your goods being 'lost' before they reach us.
Following these steps will help ensure the products arrive back correctly and in good condition. Failure to follow this procedure may result in your return being rejected upon receipt and returned to you at your cost when your delivery man returns it to you.
Once all items have been received and sent, please note, I will be informing eBay so that I can get my auction fees back, any questions, please email me or them. This of course does not apply if sold outside of ebay, i.e. through my website.
Please NOTE, any goods returned because you bought the wrong item, or it doesn't fit what you want, you said it didnt work and it was found to work, etc, you will be subject to a 25% restocking fee for the total amount paid and the refund will be minus the postage costs.
Refunds will not be sent out until I have received the faulty product(s). This is final. If lost in the post, this is not my problem. I would advise on sending in a recorded method, of you cna obtain a certificate of posting (free from your post office when you post the item(s)). If lost, you are therefore responsible to make all the claims and so forth. If an item or items are returned to me with no postage on them, and I have to pay a fee, I will deduct that from the amount being returned to you.
Please take note! Warranty period for DOA is 21 days unless sold without a warranty or as a faulty item. I need to know within 7 days of its condition and you have within 21 days from when you received it, to send it back to me. After that time, I won't accept it. This only applies to items that are not covered by the above.
If you sign for a City Link delivery, and the item is damaged (the box) and you do not make sure the driver had a note of that on the form you signed, I cannot pursue a claim with them, therefore cannot refund you your money. Their policy, not mine.
This policy does not effect your Statutory rights.
